Dec 17, Rev. Sue Browning, “The Mixed Bag of ‘The Holiday Season.'”

For many, there is a love/hate tie to the holiday season. What do the rituals of the holiday bring forth for you?  Times of connection? A sense of beauty? A range of memories? “Busyness” at times bordering the frantic?  Maybe loneliness? For most, the season holds some frustration too – from busyness to loneliness. At this service with Rev. Sue Browning, we’ll take time to pause together and lift up the complexity of the month. Special music for this service will be performed by pianist Dick Durham.
