May 21, Rev. Jane Ayres, “A Spirituality of Resilience: Process, Sources, Practices.”

In today’s heated climate of fear and heightened vulnerability, how do we keep body, mind, and soul steady? How do we stay the course of journeying toward the common good? A closer look at resilience will help us understand and embrace its gift to bring us to that better outcome.
The Rev. Jane Ayers, a monk in the world and a retired United Methodist parish minister, served also as chaplain to humanitarian relief workers in war torn Bosnia, as a hospice chaplain in MD and TN, and recently completed training in Foot Reflexology and Reiki to add to her healing ministry repertoire. In June, upon finishing her part time job as Teaching Assistant to 2- and 3-year-olds at the local Friendship Montessori School, her Pathways to Wholeness healing ministry will formally open its doors.
RE programs for youngsters and childcare for infants and toddlers will be available during the service.
