January 24 “Heart and Hearth” by Rev. Rebecca Ruchotzke

Where do you go for comfort, creativity and inspiration in these wintery days of the year? For Rev. Ruchatzke it is the Natural World, where she finds connection and creativity, despite the season. She shares practices close to home and then takes us along on a pre-Covid sabbatical to Latvia, her ancestral home in the Baltics, to see rituals of those who survive and flourish in northern climes. With pictures and story she tells of age old traditions including gathering by the hearth where souls and bodies are warmed while waiting for spring.
