“Three Two-Word Rules for Life,” – The Rev. Michael Franch, Guest Speaker — In-person & Zoom

Communities, including religious communities, have rules for behavior. Sometimes they are formal rules, such as (in this country) driving on the right side of the road. Sometimes they are informal rules, such as don’t cut into line. Individuals benefit from rules, too. One of the oldest rules is the Golden Rule, which is about 2,500 years old. It’s a good rule, but I don’t think that, by itself, it’s enough. I’ve come up with three rules, each only two words long, that I think are good rules for life. That’s only six words! Of course, they’ll require commentary—both mine and yours. I look forward to our discussion.
