The prices of groceries, energy, and rents, and almost all aspects of our lives, continue to rise, with no end in sight. From a climate standpoint, countries and corporations are choosing the economic potential of artificial intelligence over the well-being of our planet. The unfettered pursuit of capital is destroying the earth and now our own minds. What is happening below the surface that allows our species to do such harm to ourselves and all living things?
