Sep 23, Rev. Bob Clegg, “The Next Greatest Generation.” 

This sermon examines the responses of civic-minded, “hero” generations throughout history — generations that came of age in times of unraveling, uncertainty, and crisis.  According to some historical analysts, we are now due for another “hero” generation.  The good news that this sermon argues for is that the millennial generation that is coming of age today bears the hallmarks of prior hero generations that put things back together just when all seemed lost.

Sep 16, Rev. Sue Browning, “Who Are ‘We’? Where Have ‘We’ Been? Where Are ‘We’ Going?” Religious stories give high prominence to the those with vision for the community. Twenty-five years ago a few visionary leaders imagined this congregation into being and bravely led into the unknown. Because of their vision, we are together this morning. Join Rev. Sue Browning and the congregation as together we imagine how our UU values of inclusion and justice will help us frame a next vision for this congregation.
