“Meet the Moment: Reimagining Radical Faith Community”
UUA General Assembly Worship Service

Annually Unitarian Universalists from across the country gather at General Assembly for a time of celebration, reflection, and strategy. A highlight of the gathering is the Sunday worship service. For this week we’ll share in this worship, which will include a sermon preached by Rev. Gretchen Haley, the minister in Fort Collins, Colorado, and amazing music and stories from many participants.
You will be able to watch the service on UUCR’s YouTube channel by Sunday morning on July 3 (click here).

“Forest Bathing”
The Japanese phrase “Shinrin-Yoku” translates roughly to “forest bathing” or absorbing the forest atmosphere. Many studies show the physical and mental health benefits of this practice. There will be a short discussion of the concept, followed by practicing it in our Memorial Woodland Garden, weather permitting. Some may consider this a spiritual practice to better experience the interconnectedness of all life on Earth, and an expression of our 7th UU principle.
