A UUCR favorite Sunday early morning talk host, Krista Tippet, has written a new book by that title. Perhaps Ms. Tippet will be unable to make our “show” at 10, but, with or without her, it should be an excellent, stimulating, and hopeful discussion.

August 14, Ms. Diane Shields, “Shinrinyoku” (translation from Japanese = “Forest Bathing”)

The Japanese phrase “Shinrin-Yoku” translates roughly to “forest bathing”, or bathing in the natural environment of a forest. Many scientific studies show the physical and mental health benefits of practicing Shinrin-Yoku.  It can be a spiritual practice to express the UU 7th principle; come experience it in UUCR’s own young woodland, weather permitting.
